Were Barbara Bush and Betty White sisters?

By Marlo Lee
NO

A recent Facebook post makes a series of claims about the late Barbara Bush and the late Betty White, including how they divided up CIA duties.

The most easily checkable claim, however, is whether they were siblings.

The answer is no. White was an only child while Bush had three siblings, and the two attended high school 2,207 miles away from each other.

This fact brief is responsive to conversations such as this one.
