Was a record-long freshwater shark found in Deep Creek Lake in Maryland?

A marine biology professor told Lead Stories there is no such thing as a shark that lives only in freshwater.

He noted the lake in question "is a freshwater man-made impoundment" in which sharks cannot survive.

The photo on Facebook "looks more like a Caribbean reef shark," he said.
