Does Vermont, which leads the US in vaccination rates, have the highest rate of COVID-19 cases?

By Dean Miller
NO

Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, claims in a recent video that Vermont, which is the most vaccinated state in the country, also has the highest rate of COVID-19 cases.

This came after an audience member asked Kirk why conservatives should be hesitant to get the vaccine when former President Donald Trump got it.

In fact, according to Statista.com, Vermont had nearly the lowest number of cases, ranking 49th as of Dec. 8, 2021.
