Did Nancy Pelosi buy a $25 million mansion in Florida?
"This is completely false," Pelosi's deputy chief of staff told Lead Stories regarding a social media post claiming the Speaker of the House had bought a multi-million-dollar mansion in Florida. The real estate broker who listed the house told Lead Stories that neither Pelosi nor anyone related to her purchased the home.
The home pictured in the social media post is located in Hobe Sound, Florida, and is listed as "pending" for $25,000,000 on Zillow.
"It is not Nancy Pelosi and no relation to Nancy Pelosi," broker Elizabeth Bourque with Southern Shore Properties told Lead Stories via telephone on Nov. 29, 2021.
Drew Hammill, deputy chief of staff for Pelosi, said, "There's no such pending sale nor is the [Pelosi] family looking or interested."
