Did tycoon John D. Rockefeller pen a ‘Masonic creed’ with instructions to the elite on how to control the masses?

Christiana Dillard, Lead Stories

no

No evidence of such a "creed" connected to John D. Rockefeller exists. The text attributed to him in a social media post traces back to no further than 2002, to a similar post not attributed to Rockefeller. And the purported creed makes reference to video games, which were not invented by the time Rockefeller died in 1937.

Lead Stories reached out to the Rockefeller Archive Center for confirmation that the creed featured in the Facebook post was not a part of Rockefeller's personal or professional records and to verify whether Rockefeller participated in Freemasonry.

In the archive center's biography of Rockefeller, it lists his many philanthropic contributions but none indicated any involvement in Freemasonry or any connection to the purported creed.
