Did a retired Romanian general confirm the sighting of reptilian aliens?

By Sarah Thompson
NO

While former Romanian Gen. Emil Strainu does believe in such a sighting, there is no evidence of it, rendering the story unconfirmed.

Strainu wrote about the sighting in the foreword to a 2010 book. He says an anonymous military acquaintance who is now supposedly a NATO colonel saw "Anunnaki" in a Hummer at a gas station near Bucharest. Anunnaki were historically the deities of ancient Sumerian mythology. In modern conspiracy theory lore, they are frequently characterized as an extraterrestrial reptilian master race.
