Will there be public transportation for the 2026 World Cup in Kansas City?
Kansas City will operate multiple modes of public transportation during the 2026 World Cup.
There is a temporary “ConnectKC26” bus system running from June 11 to July 13. The Stadium Direct pass serves ticket holders traveling between Arrowhead Stadium and the fan festival or designated park-and-ride locations. It is $15 round trip.
Additionally, ConnectKC26 offers a free round trip between downtown and the airport and a Region Direct pass that includes unlimited rides between the fan festival and destinations across the region.
Attendees may also pay a fare to ride a RideKC bus using tap pay or the RideKC App. Riders can reach the stadium using the 47 Broadway line, according to the Geha Field at Arrowhead website.
The KC Streetcar is also running, free of charge, but does not stop at the stadium.
