Casinos in Nevada can require patrons to show identification before gambling or collecting winnings to verify they are at least 21 years old.

Nevada law prohibits people younger than 21 from gambling, placing wagers or collecting winnings. Although state law does not explicitly require people to carry identification, casinos are responsible for enforcing age restrictions. 

The Gaming Control Board describes a driver’s license as the preferred method for verifying a patron’s identity.
