Was that Spider-Man throwing punches at far-right activists rallying in Minneapolis?

Counter-protesters at an August 22 rally in Minneapolis staged by far-right agitator Jake Lang included someone dressed in a Spider-Man costume, who was seen briefly fighting with Lang and some of his associates.

A video taken by a reporter at the scene shows the costumed person, later identified as William Love of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., being detained by police. Love has since been charged with misdemeanor assault in connection with the incident.

Lang and nine others were also arrested, according to a Minneapolis Police Department press release. 

Prior to the event, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey denounced it as a “lame-ass racist rally” and encouraged people to ignore it.
