Have nine Nevada county clerks resigned, retired or declined to seek re-election after the 2020 election?

yes

Since the 2020 general election, seven top election officials in six of Nevada’s 17 counties have resigned or retired (Storey County saw two clerks resign). Officials in two additional counties have declined to seek re-election.

Outgoing clerks have stated that their job is becoming more difficult as they face angrier and more distrustful voters, along with significantly more work required to run elections. The Washoe County registrar, covering the second most populous county in the state, resigned after receiving threats of violence and fearing for her family’s safety.

Nationwide, dozens of county clerks and other election administration staff have resigned for similar reasons.
