Have any of North Dakota’s US Congress members held an in-person town hall since the pandemic?

North Dakota’s federal lawmakers, Sens. Kevin Cramer and John Hoeven and Rep. Julie Fedorchak, have not held in-person town halls in at least five years.
Cramer has not hosted an in-person town hall since before the COVID-19 pandemic. He connects with constituents through virtual events and a regular rotation of radio appearances on stations across the state.
While Hoeven held in-person town halls in 2011, his website does not have records of later town halls. He has had a number of round-table discussions with invited attendees.
Fedorchak has hosted multiple telephone town halls, including one on March 25, 2025, which her office claims engaged more than 3,000 participants. It says these formats are the most effective for reaching the state’s dispersed population.
Before Fedorchak took office, Kelly Armstrong held the seat and hosted multiple in-person town halls in 2019, including in Devils Lake, Minot, Beulah, Mapleton, Hillsboro and Valley City.
