Has Ron Johnson refused to say whether he would accept the results of the 2022 election?

yes

While Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson has not directly addressed whether he would reject the results of the 2022 election for senator of Wisconsin, remarks by a campaign spokesperson for Johnson left his stance unclear.

“It is certainly his hope that he can" accept the results in the event that Johnson loses, the spokesperson said. Johnson “would feel much better about the 2022 election had Governor Evers signed bills the Legislature passed to restore confidence in our election system,” he elaborated.

Earlier this year, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers vetoed eight election-related bills that would have imposed stricter voting requirements. Johnson has called for "snap audits" of election results, saying it would boost public confidence in the outcome.

Johnson joins other Republican candidates nationwide and in Wisconsin — including gubernatorial contender Tim Michels — in refusing to commit to accepting election results.
