Fact Brief: Is construction on Lafayette Street in Santa Clara due to a bikeway project?
Road conditions on Lafayette Street in Santa Clara are under construction because of the Lafayette Street Pavement Rehabilitation and Bikeway Project. This project was funded by the Measure B 2016 initiative and grant funding provided by CalRecycle.
The Lafayette bikeway project is a pilot program for Santa Clara’s protected bike lanes and part of the city’s 2018 Bicycle Plan.
