yes

Level II (moderate likelihood to reoffend) and Level III (high likelihood) and Level I “non-compliant” sex offenders are required to register and be tracked. Level 1 sex offenders are considered not likely to reoffend.

Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace conduct checks on offenders residing inside city limits. If offenders are in compliance, it is documented. If not, an active warrant for arrest can be issued.

The Washington Sex Offender Public Registry, a statewide searchable site, shows names and general addresses on a map. This is also referred to as “Offender Watch” or “iCrimeWatch”.

Anyone can sign up to receive alerts when offenders change location. Alerts are limited to a one-mile radius around your specified location (your home, your school, etc.).

The statewide maps are always active, listing all Level II and III offenders anywhere in Washington state.
