Does Katie Hobbs support abortion without limits?

no

During the Oct. 9, 2022 airing of CBS News's Face the Nation, Democratic Arizona gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs clarified that she is not in favor of late-term abortions except in extreme circumstances:

"Late-term abortion is extremely rare. And if it's being talked about, it's because something has gone incredibly wrong in a pregnancy. A doctor's not going to perform an abortion late in a pregnancy just because somebody decided they want one. That is ridiculous."

Hobbs did suggest that she opposes the government limiting how far into a pregnancy an abortion may be performed. When asked by Face the Nation host Major Garrett about "the Hobbs administration's week limit … for abortion access," Hobbs responded:

"Abortion is a very personal decision that belongs between a woman and her doctor. The government and politicians don't belong in that decision."
