Does Juan Ciscomani support a total ban on abortion?

no

Republican House candidate for Arizona's 6th Congressional District Juan Ciscomani identifies as "strongly pro-life," but supports access to abortion in limited cases.

Ciscomani clarified in a survey that he is "pro-life and against abortion, with limited exceptions for cases of rape, incest and the life of the mother."

When asked whether he would support an abortion for a 25-year old with no medical issues, Ciscomani said, "The state's going to have to decide that. He added, "I'm going to support the law here in Arizona."

After the Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade, an 1864 law banning abortion (except when the mother's life is in danger) came back into effect in Arizona, conflicting with the state's existing 15-week abortion ban. The Arizona Court of Appeals blocked enforcement of the 1864 law pending a ruling on which law prevails.
