Does a video show a real argument on a plane about a passenger refusing to sit next to an unvaccinated person?

By Marlo Lee
NO

The scene was staged and filmed, and is now listed on Internet Movie Database (IMDb) as "Covid Flight." Both the argumentative "passenger" and the calming "captain" are actors who have profiles on IMDb.

Although commenters remarked on the video as though it were a real scene and the original post did not indicate it was a staged skit, this was not a random encounter.

Prince Ea, the account that posted the video on Facebook, is the executive director of Covid Flight. The release date for the short was Nov. 1, 2021.

The video continues for three minutes, which is a common characteristic of such skit videos, as they then qualify for Facebook ad revenue.
