Do 'slap a teacher' challenge videos exist on TikTok?

By Alexis Tereszcuk
NO

There have been several school districts that claim students have been participating in a "slap a teacher" challenge that is supposedly on TikTok.

But the schools have offered no evidence that students saw the videos on TikTok, and then made their own versions.

TikTok itself denies that there have been such videos posted. A spokesperson said, "While this is not a trend on TikTok, if at any point it shows up, content will be removed."

Lead Stories searched, but could not find such videos on TikTok or proof of such from other sources
