Do most employees want to work from home full time?
About one-third of employees would like to be fully remote post-COVID, according to the Survey of Working Arrangements and Attitudes, using data collected between May 2020 and March 2021. A little more than one-fifth would like to be fully on-site, while the remaining 45% prefer a hybrid arrangement. The most cited reasons for desiring remote work were time saved commuting (60% of respondents), a flexible work schedule (49% of respondents) and less time needed to get ready for work (47% of respondents).
