Did one-fifth of eligible US voters say they're likely to vote for a political candidate endorsed by Taylor Swift?
Eighteen percent of eligible voters said in a national poll they are "more likely" or "significantly more likely" to vote for a political candidate endorsed by pop star Taylor Swift, Newsweek reported Jan. 28, 2024.
Seventeen percent said they would be less likely to vote for a candidate who Swift endorsed.
The poll of 1,500 eligible U.S. voters was conducted Jan. 18 for Newsweek by London-based Redfield & Wilton Strategies. It had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.53 percentage points, according to Newsweek.
Newsweek reported on the results but did not release the exact wording of the questions or detailed results.
