Did most Maricopa County voting locations experience two-hour wait times during the 2022 Election?

By Austin Tannenbaum
NO

An official Tweet from the Maricopa County Twitter account confirmed that wait times were averaging half an hour or less at most polling locations in the county on Election Day 2022:

"No part of the tweet below is accurate. The vast majority of Vote Centers are seeing wait times under 30 minutes, and whether by tabulator or secure ballot box, all voters are being served. Find locations and estimated wait times at Locations.Maricopa.Vote."

The tweet in question, made by Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, included another incorrect claim that the election was being run by Democrats. The five-person Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, the county's governing body, consists of four Republicans — Bill Gates, Clint Hickman, Jack Sellers and Thomas Galvin — and one Democrat, Steve Gallardo.
