NO
A screen-capture of a woman resembling Katie Hobbs, taken from the public surveillance video of the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center, circulated on Twitter on Thursday. Maricopa County confirmed on Twitter the woman was a party observer and not Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.
Access to the center is restricted only to those with a job responsibility or direct oversight of tabulation. The Secretary of State’s office canvasses election results statewide but is not involved in the tabulation process.
This fact brief is responsive to conversations such as this one.
