President Joe Biden won Wisconsin in the 2020 election by 20,600 votes, or 0.6 percentage points, a comprehensive report by The Associated Press in 2021 found.
Former President Donald Trump said at a June 18 rally in Racine, he was leading in polls in Wisconsin’s 2020 presidential race, but “lots of things happened,” then added “in the end we won.”
The final vote tally in Wisconsin showed Biden won 49.4% of votes whereas Trump won 48.8%.
Wisconsin’s nonpartisan Legislative Audit Bureau, the conservative Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, the Associated Press and partial recounts in Dane and Milwaukee counties affirmed that result.
