Can you track if your absentee ballot was counted in Wisconsin?

By Erin Gretzinger
YES

If voters have an active absentee ballot in Wisconsin, they can check the status of their ballot at the state's website MyVote Wisconsin. By providing their name and birthdate, voters can check if their ballot was received, if there is a problem with their ballot and when the ballot would need to be returned to the clerk to be counted.

Voters can see if their ballot was counted in the "My Voter Info" section. However, it can take up to 30 days for voters to receive confirmation about whether their ballot was actually counted in the election.

Absentee ballots are not counted in Wisconsin until Election Day and must be received by 8 p.m. that day to be counted. If voters see a problem with their ballot, they should call their clerk to determine next steps.
