Are Walmart locations actually military bases that are interconnected by underground tunnels?

By Christiana Dillard
NO

There is a series of amateur videos of shuttered Walmart superstores online.

But does this prove that they were turned into military bases and that thousands of miles of tunnels between them were excavated, made military-ready and maintained, all without detection?

No. Such tunnels would disrupt electrical, sewer and water lines and would cross thousands of private properties. That would be hard, if not impossible, to hide.

Also, the Defense Department says it's not so.

This fact brief is responsive to conversations such as this one.
