Does Biden endorse a path to citizenship for undocumented US residents?

If elected President, Joe Biden promises to work with Congress to enact immigration-law reforms that would extend the opportunity to apply for citizenship to all of the estimated 11 million people currently living in the U.S. illegally. (Estimates of the actual numbers vary in the absence of any official counts or projections.)

Biden advocates a process similar to past proposals, requiring registration, paying any taxes due and undergoing a background check.
