YES
The Department of Justice will monitor polls in five Arizona counties: Maricopa, Navajo, Pima, Pinal and Yavapai. Arizona is one of 24 states where the polls will be monitored for compliance with federal voting rights laws.
Personnel from the department's Civil Rights Division and from U.S. Attorneys’ offices will be the monitors. This division has been monitoring elections on location since the passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965.
