YES
As ballot tabulators malfunctioned on Election Day, voters had the option to submit ballots in a secure “door 3" drop box. The ballots will be counted starting Wednesday morning, according to the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office. The ballots will be tabulated at the county’s central count facility, similar to how early mail-in ballots are counted, with representatives from both political parties present.
A ballot is adjudicated when it cannot be read by a tabulator. A bipartisan team will review the ballot to determine voter intent. Reasons a ballot gets sent to adjudication include a person selecting too many candidates for a certain race or incorrect markings.
