Has the Republican National Committee gained access to Nevada poll worker data?

By Todd Butterworth
YES

A judge has granted the Republican National Committee access to the job titles and political party affiliations of poll workers in Clark County, Nevada, which includes Las Vegas, for the 2022 primary election and general election. The RNC originally requested a list including the names of poll workers, and the county refused the request over privacy concerns. The RNC then filed a lawsuit, and the judge offered a compromise requiring the county to provide a list that excludes worker names but includes information on political party affiliation and their job titles or assignments at each polling location.

Nevada law requires that election board officers at any polling location can’t all be registered members of the same political party. It also allows the presence of poll watchers and election observers who must agree to certain rules, including not taking photos.
