Has Oklahoma passed a bill protecting Bitcoin rights?

Sue Bin Park, Oklahoma Watch

yes

House Bill 3594, signed into law by Governor Stitt on May 13th, 2024, codifies and protects the right to hold, exchange, and mine cryptocurrencies. The law will go into effect Nov. 1, 2024.

Oklahoma is one of many states that have considered or enacted broader cryptocurrency guidelines, in the absence of definitive federal legislation.

On May 22, 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives approved HR 4763, also known as the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act. If passed by the Senate and signed into law, it would become the most comprehensive federal legislation regarding cryptocurrency and its regulation.
