YES
Nevada Republican Senate Candidate Adam Laxalt is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and a vocal dissident of gun control. Laxalt and a political action committee associated with him, Morning in Nevada PAC, ran online ads against Assembly Bill 291, a so-called red flag law, which allows police to temporarily confiscate a person’s guns if it is decided they pose a threat to themselves or others. Laxalt made it clear that he opposed red flag legislation on the basis that it violated an individual’s due process rights. Laxalt has also voiced on numerous occasions that he believes increasing restrictions on law-abiding citizens' access to firearms is ineffective in reducing gun violence.
