Did the US Supreme Court rule that COVID-19 vaccines are unsafe?

Online posts are falsely claiming the U.S. Supreme Court has sided with a group of vaccine critics, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and has “canceled universal vaccination.”

But Kennedy, an attorney who has advocated against vaccines, told The Associated Press that the posts are false, and that a quote that is being attributed to him is fake.

“The article about the Supreme Court is misinformation,” Kennedy said. “The quote is fabricated. Clearly somebody made it up and is promoting it because the same quote keeps coming back no matter how many times I deny it.”

Kennedy has filed lawsuits over vaccines but none are before the Supreme Court.

Joanne Rosen, a senior lecturer at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, confirmed the Supreme Court has not issued any rulings that match the claim.
