NO
According to Israel's Ministry of Health, under half of those severely ill from COVID-19 in Israel were fully vaccinated as of Feb. 6, 2022. The "fully vaccinated" designation entails the booster.
As a higher percentage of a population becomes vaccinated, cases accounted for by the vaccinated are bound to increase. As of Feb. 7, 2022, more than 67% of Israel's population was fully vaccinated, according to Johns Hopkins University of Medicine Coronavirus Resource Center.
Ratios are a more accurate metric of vaccine efficacy. According to the ministry, among the unvaccinated, 400 of 100,000 Israelis were hospitalized for COVID-19. In contrast, 35 of 100,000 among the fully vaccinated were hospitalized.
